Viscera Nu seeks to encourage and promote art that sharpens our perceptions of ourselves and the world around us. We aspire toward a revolutionary art with transgressive technical prowess, a revolutionary art inextricable from tangible action and resistance.

Viscera Nu is an anti-imperialist publication run by disabled trans artists committed to the liberation of the wretched of the earth worldwide.

Submission Guidelines

• deadline for Issue 1 is October 15, 2025
• we're seeking formally transgressive, high octane, evocative, provocative work
• we will consider all forms for submission and encourage nonconventional submissions; essays, digital art, poetry, photography, painting, reviews/criticism, etc etc etc
• acceptance into the magazine will be contingent upon a review process and edits made in collaboration with the editors
• submissions should be pasted into the body of the email, rather than attached as files
• we are committed to a flexible, accessible submission process. hit us up for any accommodations, help with the submission process, questions, comments, concerns, etc. don't be shy!
